Advisory Committee of Thani bin Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation Holds Its First Meeting

The Advisory Committee of Thani bin Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation held its first meeting under the chairmanship of Dr. Ayed bin Dabsan Al-Qahtani, Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, in the presence of the committee members.


The meeting was attended by: Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Buainain, Dr. Mohammed Salah El-Dosouki, Dr. Yahya bin Hamad Al-Nuaimi, Eng. Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Naama, Dr. Adel Mohammed Al-Hashimi, Ali bin Yousuf Al-Kuwari, Abdulnasser Ibrahim Fakhro, Ibrahim Ali Abdullah, Mr. Ramzan Rashid Al-Nuaimi, Dr. Shafi Safar Al-Hajri, Dr. Mohammed Rashid Al-Marri, Dr. Hamza Moajab Al-Dosari, Mr. Fahad Jamaan Al-Qahtani, Masoud Jarallah Al-Marri, and Mohammed Hassan Al-Harmi.


During the meeting, the Advisory Committee discussed the Foundation’s objectives and its new launch to serve the community.


It is worth noting that Thani bin Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation has set a number of vital goals to serve Qatari society. These include assisting indebted prisoners and those convicted by the courts in settling their debts, supporting Qatari youth with marriage assistance through financial aid and educational programs, and providing support to underprivileged families in the local community.


The Foundation also works to support and care for divorced and widowed women in need through developmental programs, assist patients with the costs of treatment and medication in partnership with the Ministry of Public Health and Hamad Medical Corporation, and support students at various educational levels who are unable to pay tuition fees, in coordination with educational institutions in the country.


In addition, the Foundation undertakes the printing and distribution of the Holy Qur’an in Africa and Asia, organizes Iftar meals for fasting individuals, provides Iftar on the road, and offers Iftar for labor cities and expatriate community gatherings.
